Entry level study
materials for use at the school level!
- For classroom, grade level and
school spelling bees, you learn a list of 50 study words. When you master the
50 study words, you further prepare for spelling competition by learning the
study words for other grade levels.
- Study words are available for
grades 1–8. You obtain study words from your teacher. Your teacher obtains the
study words by logging into the password-protected section of spellingbee.com
and printing one-page study sheets.

- Spell It!, a collaborative effort of Merriam-Webster and the
Scripps National Spelling Bee, is the official study source for school spelling
