Cheeeeeese

We've had a cheese theme this week with spellers being asked to spell words like "feta," "chevre" and "Roquefort" this week. Lauren Guo, Speller 44 and a Colorado seventh grader, didn't get a cheese word exactly -- but her word, "poutine," certainly includes it.

Poutine is a dish of French fries covered with brown gravy and cheese curds.

Dr. Bailly read: "After his trip to Montreal, Paul declared poutine to be a perfectly balanced dish, consisting of all five of the major food groups: carbs, fats, salt, gravy and cheese."

He drew out the cheeeeeeese, drawing chuckles from the crowd.
