If you follow us on Facebook, you've probably noticed a number of bird pictures on our timeline lately. Since October 1st, we have been counting down the days remaining in the early "bird" enrollment period with some images of our feathered friends.
As of this posting (on Monday, October 13th), schools have just three days left to enroll for the lowest price of the season. If you are a teacher or administrator, enroll by October 15th for just $130 per school. After the 15th, the cost is $205 per school.
Schools that enroll in the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee program receive the following:

- grade-specific word lists and study lists for students in grades 1-8 (sample),
- study materials for your school spelling champion (sample),
- the 2015 Classroom Pronouncer Guide (sample),
- the 2015 School Pronouncer Guide (sample),
- the Rules for Local Spelling Bees (sample)
- materials to conduct a Great American SpellCheck fund-raiser (sample),
- award certificates (sample), and
- key information about your local spelling bee program.
- From Encyclopædia Britannica, a free one-year subscription to Britannica Online for Kids (a $69.95 value) for use as a prize in your spelling bee program.
