Enrollment Season is Now Open!

If you've followed the Scripps National Spelling Bee for a long time, you've probably heard us mention that we start with more than 11 million students at the classroom level. We are proud to be the nation's largest and longest-running educational program, but we wouldn't be able to achieve that level of participation without the tens of thousands of schools that enroll with the Bee every fall.

Enrollment for the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee is now open, so we wanted to share some important information about the process.

  • First, anyone can check to see if their school is enrolled by clicking on this link and entering their zip code.
  • If the school is not yet enrolled, teachers or school administrators can click here to enroll their school.
  • Enrolled schools receive a "Virtual Bee-In-A-Box" that includes study words for students, pronouncer guides, rules and much more. You can see the full list of benefits by clicking here.
  • Schools must be enrolled for their students to have a chance at advancing to Washington, D.C. and becoming the next Scripps National Spelling Bee champion!

You can also save money with our early bird enrollment option, if completed by October 15, 2014:
