So went Monday for Alyssa Mangio, speller 141, from Las Vegas.
The seventh grader said she and three other people were pulled from the barbecue because of their excellent dance moves.
It meant she didn't see as many animals as she meant to at the zoo, but she still had a neat experience.
"It was really fun," Alyssa said. "I liked it a lot."
