The spelling is over, but there's still a competition

In addition to the bee, the Scripps National Spelling Bee hosted a Spellebrity video contest for the first time. The winners will be announced tomorrow night at the farewell party. Five teams made videos about how to kindle a love of reading. On Tuesday night, the spellers watched the videos. They've been able to vote for their favorites all week. "I think it was very creative," said Xoelis Acosta, speller 211. "I liked the videos a lot. It really inspired people to read." Sarah Rye, speller 139, said she enjoyed watching the videos. "Some were funny and some were more serious," she said. "They were all good." Read more about the competition here: http://spellingbee.com/bee-blog/bee/votes-are-spellebrity-video-contest…
