At both the school and regional-partner levels, the online testing platform enables bee coordinators to:

-Specify an all-spelling test, an all-vocabulary test or a combination test (spelling + vocabulary).
-Select multiple-choice or type-in spelling questions. Vocabulary questions are always multiple-choice.
-Specify if they want all studied words on their test, or a combination of studied words and unstudied words.
-Specify a time limit for the test, if desired.
-Set start and end dates for when the test is available to students.
-Determine if they want students to receive instant results showing the number of correct responses.

NOTE: The platform provides all test questions. Schools and regional partners do not create questions. During all tests, spellers will hear the words pronounced by Scripps National Spelling Bee Pronouncer Dr. Jacques Bailly.
