We recommend that you use only the School Competition List from the current year for your school bee, as it includes words from the current year's School Spelling Bee Study List. For example, during the 2023-2024 school year we recommend school bee officials use the 2024 School Competition List to conduct a school spelling bee. The 2024 School Competition List becomes available to enrolled schools beginning August 23, 2023.
