A sponsor is a business, community organization, college or university that signs a contract with our office agreeing to coordinate and pay for a spelling bee program for all schools within an area (a city, county or group of counties).
The responsibilities of an official sponsor include the following:

User names and passwords are available to schools that enroll in the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee program. To learn more about enrollment, please visit the enrollment section of our website.
User names and passwords must be renewed each year. Check online to see if your school is enrolled in the Bee for the current school year.
If your school is enrolled for the current year and you have lost your user name

Our Early Bird Enrollment Period lasted from August 17,
2015, through October 15, 2015. The per-school fee during our Early Bird Enrollment Period was $136.
Our
Regular Enrollment Period began on October 16, 2015, and will last through December 11,
2015. The per-school fee during our Regular Enrollment Period is $211.
