What's it like to be at the Scripps National Spelling Bee?
“It's really fun,” said Sidharth Mody, speller 129, from Louisiana. “I feel like I'm the cream of the crop.”
Ryan Himmelsbach, speller 222, from New York, is making his second appearance at the Scripps National Spelling Bee. He said he's nervous, but excited to be here. Kendal Win, speller 376, from North Carolina, is also at her second Bee.
“It's going to be a lot of fun,” she said. “It's definitely more comfortable, since I've already been here.”
