Ethan Perrins (2014 Speller 91) had a
deal with his mother: If he spelled his way to the Scripps National Spelling
Bee in Washington, D.C., he could get a dog.
He made it, and his mom kept her word. Here's Ethan with his new dog,
appropriately named "Scripps."
