Vismaya Kharkar (Speller 256) was the last person eliminated before last year's finals. So she's particularly excited to have made it there today.

She broke it down into roots that mean "shadow" and "divination." She tried to get pronouncers to confirm the connecting "O," too.
"I think we need a foreign word with a meaning," pronouncer Dr. Jacques Bailly said.
