Edith Fuller, speller 290, asked for everything she could when spelling tapas, foods served or consumed informally usually in small amounts and typically under other circumstances than as a regular meal.
And she got it right.
Whether or not she continues in the competition will depend on her score in the written test.
At the end of the round, 71 spellers misspelled and are out.
That means 188 remain.
No more than 50 spellers will advance to the next round.
