Meena Seshadri, Speller 330, asked a question that more and more spellers are asking: Can you give me everything?
For the Oklahoma seventh grader, it helped her spell "bulbul," a Persian songbird frequently mentioned in poetry that is probably a nightingale.
Helena Thompson, Speller 335, also asked for all the information. It helped the North Carolina eighth grader spell "savoir faire," a seemingly instinctive ability to act appropriately in a particular situation; especially : adroitness in social relationships.
"Everything" consists of the word's pronunciation and any alternate pronunciations, the part of speech, the language of origin and the definition. It can also be used in a sentence.
