His sentence: "Penny and her dad could agree that the normal human adult hears sounds between 20 and 16,000 hertz, but Penny would never, ever understand how he heard Yanny."
Spencer said he didn't get it -- he must have heard "laurel," which Rohan Rao, Speller 303, got right earlier in the day -- but he spelled the word correctly.
