William Cooper, speller 14, wanted the microphone to be a little taller. But it wouldn't cooperate.
"It doesn't pull up. It's just -- that's how it is it'll catch your voice. You can stand normally," Dr. Bailly told the California seventh grader.
He spelled "calisthenics" correctly.
