He was here last year, and tied for 41st place. (His brother, James, competed in 2015 and 2016.)
Pierce, Garrett's twin brother and Speller 518, got the word "balsa." He spelled it correctly.
Their success marks the first set of twins to make it through two rounds of on-stage spelling.
