Cameron Keith, Speller 24 and a Colorado sixth grader, is out on "chausses," the early medieval armor of linked mail that tightly covered the legs and feet and sometimes the body below the waist.

Cameron closes his eyes and taps his foot as he spells. It's his third Bee -- he tied for 50th place in 2015 and 18th place last year -- and we hope to see him again.
