Alyssa Burgos, speller 96, got the word "parvanimity" -- the quality or state of having a little or ignoble mind.
The Maryland eighth grader misspelled the word.
But we also want you to know that someone at the Bee is a fan of My Little Pony. Just listen to this sentence:
"Jack accused his sister of parvanimity, while his sister accused Jack of being a Brony. Which is true: he brings his Fluttershy pony everywhere he goes."
All the cool kids are bronies now, right?
