Schools that enroll in the 2027 Bee program receive the following benefits:

-Exclusive online access to the teachers-only section of spellingbee.com.

-Official competition lists for use in conducting classroom and school spelling bees.

-The Bee's Bookshelf Reading Program.

-Vocabulary materials for classroom and school levels.

-Customizable certificates for your participants and school champion.

-A one-year subscription to Britannica Online for Kids to award to a student in your spelling bee program. Schools that enroll on or before September 30, 2026, receive TWO subscriptions to award to TWO students.

-Study Materials: The 4,000-word Words of the Champions study guide for school champions that includes the 450-word School Spelling Bee Study List.

School enrollment for the 2026-2027 year begins August 18, 2026, at spellingbee.com. The per-school fee will be $199 per school through November 30, 2026. The fee increases to $225 per school beginning December 1, 2026. 

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 year closes January 29, 2027.*

*Late enrollment is not available in all areas. Some regional bee programs end Enrollment before January 29, 2027, due to local deadlines.
