I had always wanted to participate in a spell bee..so I had a great opportunity in my school to participate in the bee..I was totally overwhelmed because I love learning and spelling words..This time I worked really hard and could secure the first place in the spell bee! Moreover,I love supporting the contestants in the Scripps national bee.It in fact inspired me to participate in spell bee too..Now I really look forward to participate in the Scripps national spell bee!

When I was in the 4th grade, I went to Sunset Acres Elementary. In May of 2016 I was in a spelling bee & it came down to a girl & me. The word was missile. Me and her both missed the word but luckily they gave us another word and the winning word celebration. I ended getting 1st place in the spelling bee. To prepare for this spelling bee, my class had a class spelling bee and I spelled the word avenue & I got 1st place in the classroom spelling bee.
