The Scripps National Spelling Bee is now accepting applications for our 2012 Teachers Panel. This new program will enable experienced teachers to provide feedback to the Bee and help advance our educational purpose.

 

Program Overview

The Scripps National Spelling Bee is seeking to establish a teachers panel in order to solicit valuable feedback from educators with experience teaching English, spelling and vocabulary to elementary and middle school-aged students.

How do I enroll if there is no home school association/group/co-op in my area?

If a home school student lives in an area with no home school association, group or co-op, the student\'s family can enroll in the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee program by visiting spellingbee.com.

Our Early Bird Enrollment Period lasted from August 17, 2015, through October 15, 2015. The fee per home school family during our Early Bird Enrollment Period was $94.

How do I enroll a home school association/group/co-op?

Home school associations, groups and co-ops can enroll in the Bee just like any other type of school. The enrollment fee for home school associations, groups is the same fee paid by other school types (e.g. public, private, charter).
