When is the deadline for enrollment?
Our Early Bird Enrollment Period lasted from August 17,
2015, through October 15, 2015. The per-school fee during our Early Bird Enrollment Period was $136.
Our
Regular Enrollment Period began on October 16, 2015, and will last through December 11,
2015. The per-school fee during our Regular Enrollment Period is $211.

Payment Options
After entering your information and accepting the terms of enrollment, you will be given the option to pay by credit card or check.
To pay by credit card:
- Choose the Pay by Credit Card option.
- Enter your payment information and click the submit button to have your credit card transaction processed.
- After your credit card is approved, you will receive an e-mail confirming your school's enrollment. The school spelling bee contact will also receive an acknowledgment e-mail.

The Consolidated Word List
The Consolidated Word List is a compilation of over 100 Scripps National Spelling Bee word lists dating as far back as 1950. It appears below in four sections totaling 794 pages. It is FREE. There are 23,413 unique words. Parts of speech, language origins, pronunciations, definitions, and sentences are provided for 10,139 (43%) of these words.
Please note that the Consolidated Word List Files posted below were first posted online in early 2004. The Bee has no immediate plans to update the Consolidated Word List.
Log-in: What is this?
The Scripps National Spelling hosts three special sections of its Web site.
1. Teacher Log-in (also known as School Log-in)
User names and passwords are provided to the educators who officially enroll their schools in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program. These user names and passwords are unique for each school year, so the password from a previous year will not work. Enrollment for the 2012-13 Bee program will open in mid-August.
Great American SpellCheck
Great American SpellCheck is a benefit of enrollment in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program. It is a program that erases the objections that you (and your students' parents) have to traditional fund-raisers. It's a fund-raiser that:
