Jacob Mijalli, speller 372 and a South Carolina seventh grader, misspelled "obsolescence," the process of becoming no longer active or in use.

Jacob's parents may have appreciated this sentence, though Jacob may have never set foot in one:

"Nothing made Brayden's father mourn the obsolescence of the VHS tape more than his son asking 'What's a Blockbuster Video?'"
