The Pennsylvania eighth grader spelled "gravitas" correctly after hearing this sentence:

"The gravitas of the candidate's concession speech was somewhat undercut by his teenage daughter jokingly flashing the 'L for Loser' sign on her forehead."

Gravitas means high seriousness (as in a person's bearing or the treatment of a subject).
