First, speller 245, Jashun Paluru, said he hoped Dr. Bailly didn't mean it literally when he said he'd jump in if he heard any issues with his pronunciation.
He didn't. Jashum spelled sculpturesque correctly.
Then came Gabrielle Brown, speller 246.
"Look, Dr. Bailly, you’re going to really need to come through for me right now, OK?" she asked.
"I try to come through for everybody," he replied.
Gabrielle spelled similitude correctly. She pumped her fists, jumped of and hugged a friend who had yet to spell.
