Anisha Rao, Speller 80, a California seventh grader, misspelled "pavillon" and is out. It's the bell of a wind instrument.
Anisha is from the highly competitive San Francisco Bay area, and is here through the RSVBee program. She's said she was thrilled to be able to show her skills at the National Bee.
She's a fan of the Golden State Warriors, and particularly Steph Curry. She appreciates his work ethic. She also likes to read, study marine life and genetics.
“I'm very happy I made it this far,” she said. “I'm very excited about it.”
